Join us at THE FARM for our Annual Fall Harvest Festival October 17-20 and 24-31, 2013. The festival is open to the public and offers activities for kids such as hay rides, a cow train, pony rides and a hay bale maze.
Visitors can find a large selection of specialty pumpkins and squash there along with artisanal jams and jellies, local honey and farm-fresh eggs.
The selection of pumpkins and squash is arguably the best in the entire Valley. At least a dozen of otherwise hard-to-find varieties – from minuscule to massive sizes – are available for decorating, carving or baking and eating.
So far, we we have brought in more than 8 TONS (Yes! More than 16,000 pounds!) of pumpkins and squash for our festival this year! And another truckload will arrive next week!
You won’t be able to find pumpkins like these anywhere else in or around Las Vegas. We take a lot of care in selecting the sizes, varieties and looks of the pumpkins that we sell, so they really are unique! Come check them out!
For hungry visitors, we have concession stand available on Saturdays and Sundays selling barbecued ribs, pumpkin chips, baked goods and candied apples. While you’re visiting, you can see horses, cows, pigs, a mule, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, quail, peacocks, rabbits, tortoises and more.
Originally established in 1961, The Las Vegas Farm is an agricultural time capsule; truly a one-of-a-kind outdoor museum that is home to an antique inheritance of farming machinery and equipment owned through three generations.
Proceeds from the Fall Harvest Festival will benefit Barn Buddies Rescue, a nonprofit organization founded by The Las Vegas Farm to provide housing and holistic care to abandoned farm animals.
The hours and location of the Festival are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. October 17-20 and October 24-31 at 7222 West Grand Teton Drive in Las Vegas. Admission to the Fall Harvest festival is just $2, and the rides, concessions and other activities are all available at reasonable prices. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please note the concessions and rides are available only on Saturdays and Sundays.
